Jonathan has done many small jobs for us as well as a much larger project on our extension which required both internal and external wiring and lighting. It is really easy to work with him especially as he listens to what you want and he is happy to make suggestions and offer ideas to suit. Brilliant! We would highly recommend him. I called Jonathan for an emergency two years ago and ever since then I have only ever called him for my electrical work of which there has been a good deal as he undertook the total electrical project for my house refurbishment. He is always reliable, honest, timely and trustworthy. I am always happy to recommend him. My parents had a power failure to 5 appliances in their kitchen. The main board hadn’t tripped, so after some trouble shooting, I quickly realised, we would need to call a professional electrician. I did a search on Google and chose Southern Electrical Services ( Jonathan) because of his good reviews. Thankfully I chose well. Jonathan came out within half an hour and conducted a very professional fault finding process. He found 2 issues related to the negatives within the ring main, he corrected the issues by installing a new junction box behind the integrated dishwasher where the previous wiring was a mess. Jonathan’s price for the time taken to complete these works was very reasonable indeed. I found Jonathan to be a true professional tradesperson, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing an electrical services. Mr A Bond - Bournemouth Burglar alarm went wrong Sunday lunchtime the day before the Queen's funeral - couldn't find anyone local to me to come out so I trawled through google for an emergency electrician - In desperation - amidst the calls of complaint - I rang Jonathan - he came out just as soon as he could and rapidly gave my neighbours their lives back when he silenced the darn thing after 7 hours of screaming its head off - a roar of cheers came from over the fence welcoming in the silence - thank you so much for your kindness, efficiency and charming attitude - it was a great pleasure to meet you and the neighbours have texted a thank you already - phew !!! J Brake We called Jonathan late on a Friday afternoon to investigate a lighting failure. He came straight out, quickly diagnosed the fault and promised to come back the following Monday to carry on the repair, which involved replacing the cable between two switches. He returned, as promised and quickly and efficiently made the repair, which involved making two holes in the ceiling, replacing the cable and then making good the holes. His work was of a very high standard and the cost reasonable given the service we received. Jonathan is an excellent electrician, polite and trustworthy and we would not hesitate to use him again.
